Stratihost Official Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Stratihost (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard the personal information you provide on our websites (including but not limited to any related websites), and through or in connection with our mobile apps or other software- and Internet-enabled programs and services sponsored by Stratihost (the “Sites”) as well as information collected when you otherwise communicate or interact with us. The obligations and responsibilities set out in this Policy are in addition to any other applicable policies or agreements you may have entered into with us, as well as any applicable laws and/or regulations. We use personal information only as outlined in this Policy.
In general, we will use the personal information we collect from you only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or for purposes disclosed to you at the time we collect your personal information. However, we may also use your personal information for other purposes that are not incompatible with the purposes we have disclosed to you if and where permitted by applicable data protection laws.

2. General Statement Stratihost is dedicated to using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and related technologies to improve the telecommunications industry and the lives of individuals throughout the world. Our goal is to deliver carrier-grade communications services to all our clients at a reasonable price and to make available the benefits that VoIP offers as broadly as possible. In order to achieve this goal, a strong Privacy Policy is necessary.

3. Data Processor
Stratihost provides a technology platform for hosted or “cloud” unified communications as a service (UCaaS). These products act as a conduit for data transmitted by third parties and subscribers. We process personal information that is controlled by or originated from other companies, such as our clients or business partners, and also process personal information in the course of providing support for our communications products.
We protect personal information, comply with laws regulating the processing of personal information, and process it only as authorized by the data controller or the data subject. We rely on the guidance and direction of our clients (who act as the data controllers) to determine the purposes of processing personal information. In some cases, Stratihost may collect and process personal information for our own business purposes and will comply with the applicable privacy laws concerning this processing.
Although Stratihost processes data while providing a technology platform, we do not own, control, or direct the use of any personal information stored or processed by a client or subscriber. We only process such personal information to provide and invoice for purchased and/or subscribed products and services.
